O'Hare International Airport, awaiting our EVA Air flight to Taipei

Arriving in Taipei, our taxi took us to the High Speed Rail station.

The rail station was very modern and clean.

Here is a closer view of the statue of Wang Wo.

In a sitting room of the house is a bust of Lee's great Grandfather, made in April, 1928.

Then we went to visit the ancestral house in central Kaohsiung, where this photo of Lee's grandmother is on respectful display.

In another room is a large chest with intricately carved panels, depicting Chinese folk stories.

This panel over a doorway proclaims this is a beautiful home.

We finally arrived in the bustling city of Kaohsiung.

After hours of planes, trains, and taxis, these travelers are exhausted.

Mrs. Tai was excited to catch up with her brother Ajin.
